England tour of Bangladesh, 2023: Bangladesh Clean Sweep England After an Outstanding Bowling Performance

Bangladesh and England faced each other in the 3rd T20I at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. England won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Litton Das and Rony Talukdar came to open for Bangladesh, and Sam Curran opened the bowling attack. Rony Talukdar hit a four on the second ball, and it was the first boundary of the match. Bangladesh had a decent power play and scored 46 runs without losing any wickets. After 6 overs, BAN was at 46-0.

In the 7th over, Litton Das hit a four on the last ball, and Bangladesh reached 50 runs. In the 8th over, Rony Talukdar got out after scoring 24(22). In the 12th over, Litton Das smashed back-to-back two boundaries. After 12 overs, BAN was at 98-1.

In the 13th over, Litton Das took a single and scored a half-century. With this single, Bangladesh reached 100 runs. In the 14th over, Litton Das got a life and smashed back-to-back two boundaries on the last two balls. In the 17th over, Litton Das got out after scoring 73(57). In the 19th over, Bangladesh reached 150 runs.

In 20 overs, Bangladesh scored 158 runs with a loss of 2 wickets.

Chasing 159 runs, Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan came to chase, and Tanvir Islam opened the bowling attack. Malan smashed the boundary on the first ball, and Philip Salt got out without scoring any runs. In the 4th over, Buttler hit a four on the second ball, and Malan hit a four on the fifth ball. England lost one wicket and scored 47 runs in the power play.

In the 7th over, Malan smashed back-to-back two boundaries including one six, and England reached 50 runs. After 10 overs, ENG was at 72-2. In the 11th over, Buttler hit a four on the third ball, and Malan smashed a four on the last ball. In the 12th over, Buttler smashed two boundaries, and Malan scored a half-century with a single. After 12 overs, ENG was at 95-1.

In the 13th over, Malan took a single, and England reached 100 runs. In the 14th over, Malan got out on the first ball after scoring 53(47). Buttler ran out on the second ball after scoring 40(31). In the 16th over, Moeen Ali smashed a six on the third ball, and Duckett hit a four on the fifth ball.

In the 17th over, Moeen Ali got out after scoring 9(10) on the second ball, and Duckett got out on the last ball after scoring 11(11). In the 19th over, Sam Curran got out after scoring 4(6). England required 27 runs in the last over, and Woakes smashed back-to-back two fours on the first two balls. England scored 142-6 and lost the match by 16 runs.
