ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023: England Women vs South Africa Women, Semi-Final 2, Preview

England and South Africa had reached the semifinal and will face each other in the second semifinal of the women’s T20 World Cup. England reached here after winning all the matches in the league stage while South Africa reached here at the end moment and won 2 out of four matches.

England started their journey to the semi-final with a 7-wicket win against West Indies. Next, they won against Ireland, and India and thrashed Pakistan in the end. On the other hand, South Africa didn’t get a good start and lost the first match against Sri Lanka. They won against New Zealand and Bangladesh and lost against Australia.

South African bowlers have done a great job in the world cup, but their batter needs to improve a lot. It will be interesting to see South African bowlers against the English powerhouse batting line-up.

South Africa and England women have faced each other three times in the white ball world cup semi-final and didn’t win any of them. England is the only team that has won the world cup along with Australia.
