Indian Premier League 2023: Lucknow Super Giants vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, Preview

LSG will take on RCB on their home ground after back-to-back two losses on this ground. They failed to chase 136 runs in the last match at this venue against GT. On the other hand, RCB is coming here after back-to-back two losses.

LSG has registered the highest score of this IPL in the previous match at Mohali. They will be looking to carry the momentum against RCB. Kyle Mayers provided them a great start, Badoni, Stoinis, and Pooran continued the momentum to score 250-plus in the last match. However, this was a much needed performance  to gain the confidence after the dramatic loss against GT. Their Skipper KL Rahul is scoring runs but he has struggled with strike rate but middle order performance is some good news for LSG.

Naveen-ul-Haq has shown the potential and will be a key factor on this ground against RCB. On this slow pitch, Bishnoi and Krunal Pandya need to play a crucial role against the opposition who love to send the ball out of the park.

On the other hand, RCB is struggling with over-dependence on the top three players. Skipper Faf, Kohli, and Maxwell performed and when they failed to score runs, the over-dependence was exposed. Dinesh Karthik form was at peak in the previous season but he has failed to create an impact in this season. Shahbaz Ahmed has also struggled to score runs in this season and couldn’t contribute with bat or ball either.

Mohammed Siraj is in sublime form and providing a great start to their teams. Harshal Patel will be a great fit on this venue with his slower one. RCB will be looking towards Wanindu Hasaranga as he is caring a lot of experience with him.
