Morrisville Samp Army Emerged Victorious Against Deccan Gladiators by 19 Runs

The 25th match of the T10 League 2022 was hosted in Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi between Morrisville Samp Army and Deccan Gladiators. The former team won the toss and chose to bat first. 

To unveil the batting attack, Charles and Karim Janat came to the crease on the bowling of Joshua Little.

In the first over only, Charles and Karim Janat bought two boundaries, one each. In the consecutive over, Janat smacked 2 boundaries and a six, getting to a score of 25 after 2 overs. Scoring 21 in 11 balls, he lost his wicket and the left-handed batter, Moeen Ali took the batting charge. 

After 5 overs, the team crossed the half-century with a score of 51-1 after 5 overs. Charles and Ali paired up to hit long boundaries and sixes, jumping up to a score of 63-1 after 6 overs. 

In the 8th over from Zahoor Khan, Charles drilled two boundaries, shifting the team score up to 85-2 after 8 overs. In the immediate over, Charles bought a six while Miller also got a four & a six; MSA boys crossed the century, standing at a score of 103-2 after 9 overs. 

In the 10th over from Russell, Charles nailed 2 sixes and 2 fours, posting total team score to 126 with a loss of 2 wickets. 

For the run chase of 127, Kohler-Cadmore and Pooran came to the middle with Cottrell on the bowling attack. In the 2nd ball only, Pooran smacked a four and lost his wicket immediately and the right-handed batter, Andre Russell took the batting charge. 

Smeed drilled two fours in the 2nd over from Karim Janat and got to a score of 20-2 after 2 overs. Adding 17 runs in 13 balls, Smeed lost his wicket to Pretorius. In the 6th over, Kohler-Cadmore hit the ball long on the pitch, crossing the half-century with a score of 58-3 after 6 overs. 

Scoring 27 in 12 balls, Odean Smith lost his wicket to Cottrell and the right handed batter, David Wiese took the batting charge. With Kohler-Cadmore standing tough on the pitch, he helped his team to reach 107 with a loss of 5 wickets.
