Poland vs Saudi Arabia FIFA World Cup 2022 – Poland Sealed a 2-0 Win against Saudi Arabia

On Saturday, Poland defeated Saudi Arabia 2-0 at the Education City Stadium in Qatar in Group C of the FIFA World Cup 2022. The Poland captain set up his team’s first goal in the first half, which was converted by Piotr Zielinski, before scoring his first World Cup goal late in the second half to secure his team all three points. Poland went to the top of Group C with the win, with Mexico facing Argentina later in the day.

Piotr Zielinski scored in the 39th minute to give Poland a 1-0 lead, while Wojciech Szczesny saved a penalty late in the half to avert an equaliser. Meanwhile, in the 82nd minute, Robert Lewandowski scored his first World Cup goal to put Poland ahead.
